Testing the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque

Those coming into Land Rover Manhattan in New York City, NY for information on the all new Range Rover Evoque can agree, this is the most unique Land Rover design seen in years. There are several trims and special editions coming from Land Rover, one includes SD4 Dynamic.
SD4 represents the powerful 2.2 liter, four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that powers all four wheels on this model. It produces an intense 188-cubic-horsepower, with enough torque to propel you out of your driveway and down the block in seconds.
Evoque's engine is matted to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The sprint from zero to 60 is roughly 8 seconds. Top speed is 120 mph. The vehicle's chassis is the same as base models, aside from special badging to show off that SD4 power.
GT Spirit explains the transmission and underbelly a little more: "Cars fitted with the automatic have the rotary gear selector that rises from the center console. Underneath the central gear selector a row of buttons allowed us to tweak the terrain response off-road system, switching between tarmac, sand and mud settings. Our Fuij White SD4 Evoque was fitted with the 20 inch seven-spoke Shadow Chrome wheels combined with the Adaptive Dynamics and magneto rheological dampers."1
The vehicle is currently available overseas, and should be heading stateside shortly.
